Many students have a natural tendency to balk at the idea of doing any kind of scientific research, whether it is for a lab investigation or to developing a project to submit to a science fair. The common thought here is what’s the big deal or why bother or can my grade survive a failure earned for not doing anything?
Scientific research that is based on finding the answer to simple questions of “How”? “Why?” or “What If?” just might lead the student into uncharted territories that might impact their future. The possibilities are unlimited.
