Regeneron STS is the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science research competition for high school students. Started in 1942 as the Westinghouse Science Talent Search, Regeneron STS recognizes and empowers our nation’s most promising young scientists who are developing ideas that could solve society’s most urgent challenges.

Apply to the National STEM Festival
Submissions are open for the 2026 National STEM Festival™, a national challenge that showcases the brightest young minds in grades 7–12 tackling real-world challenges through science, technology, engineering, and math. The top project in New Hampshire earns an expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C., where student Champions from each US state and territory will present their innovations to peers, industry mentors, and media at the Festival’s public expo. This is the 3rd year for the festival, and we are looking for applicants from New Hampshire! Spread the word so New Hampshire’s talented young people can showcase their ingenuity and creativity on a national stage. The deadline for submissions is Sunday, Nov. 16 at 11:59 PM ET. |

ABOUT THE NHSEE |
The purpose of the New Hampshire Science and Engineering Association shall be the advancement of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education in the State of New Hampshire. The Association sponsors the New Hampshire Science and Engineering Exposition events in which high school students and middle school students present research on STEM-related projects and compete for awards and an opportunity to qualify for the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) for high schools and the Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge (JIC) for the middle schools. The Association may also offer other events to students and teachers to promote STEM learning and competition. The Association seeks to drive student interest in STEM-related fields by partnering with New Hampshire businesses, communities, colleges and universities to address workforce challenges.
