Challenge Competition Topics
Objective: To build a musical instrument and to then perform with it. The instruments will be built in advance and then used to perform on site.
Objective: To construct a free standing paper tower that is capable of supporting a number of weight-filled soft-drink cans. The best score is achieved by a combination of tower height and the number of cans supported.
Objective: To design and build the lightest bridge capable of supporting the heaviest load when weight is placed on a given span, using specified materials and guidelines.

Objective: To construct a device that will launch a spring as a projectile to hit a target.
Objective: The objective is to use a simple living thing and its natural food processing pathways to produce the maximum amount of carbon dioxide in a fixed period of time.
